We have decided to sell "La Sycomore", our beautiful home in north Aveyron. In this undiscovered part of France you are still amongst the French.

It is a family home and, with its 6 bedrooms, it has become too big for us.

What we will probably miss most is the big fire place between the lounge and dining room. We are going to build a new property and will make sure that we install a similar fire place.

La Sycomore stands on the edge of a small village. We carefully selected this location as it is less than 2 miles from a charming market town with 5000 inhabitants. That town is large enough however to have all the amenities that we need. It is all very rural without being isolated and the latter was an absolute must.

The house looks out on a large meadow (see picture above) and the 1100 m² garden offers lots of privacy. There is enough space to build a pool.

It was completely and professionally restored in the beginning of the 1980's and we had the interior renovated by local artisans in 2006/2007. New parquet flooring, new bathrooms, new heating system, etc. It is therefore no surprise that everything is in perfect condition.
